Samantha and Tyler’s wedding

Samantha and Tyler met at the altar to start their wedding day.  A beautiful ceremony and a wonderful church with bubbles to end.  Then to the park for some fun with the wedding party and newly wed couple.   Another Phoenix Photography wedding photographed by Lisa Catera and John Phoenix

Wedding couple's Day

Lisa and Andrew’s wedding

Our first time to this location, the Lenexa Conference Center for Phoenix Photography and although it was a wet rainy day – the couple was fabulous to work with.  Their décor of Cowboy was to the tee and everyone was excited and in a celebratory spirit.

The day started with the ceremony at the Lenexa Conference Center then everyone went to Garazzio’s for a great Italian meal and social gathering…then back to the reception

The wedding cake was wrapped in cow colored frosting and the guests were entertained throughout the evening with fun music and a BBQ food spread.

All in all everyone was filled with wedding fun

Allison and Kori Wedding

Allison and Kori spent the entire day of their wedding day at the President Hotel, downtown Kansas City.  While Lisa was with the girls getting ready, John was finding out how fun the Groom and Groomsmen were going to be – nothing but great fun!

The ceremony was held at The President Hotel as well as the reception.  Just a beautiful location - all levels of the hotel were stunning and made for a great background for wedding photography.  Between the ceremony and reception there was a cocktail hour held at the mezzanine level where guests enjoyed drinks and appetizers for about an hour…the the reception began and the newly weds were announced.

Great wedding photography always comes in the combination of a great wedding couple and wonderful surroundings.  This was one of those, we had a great time with Allison and Kori and wish them the very best.

“John, We just got back from our honeymoon last night and LOVE LOVE LOVE the pictures! There are so many great ones we don’t know how we’ll ever be able to narrow it down. We had messages from lots of people who were at the wedding who had been on to look at them before we were able to so we ending up getting 15 minutes of internet for $10 to take a quick glance in the hotel business center. They are wonderful so we’ll work on narrowing them down and get back to you. You guys were so great to work with and we truly had fun taking the pictures – I think that is evident in many of the pictures where we are goofing around and being natural!”

Briana and Taylor's Wedding Photography in Kansas City

Briana and Taylor got an unusual break in the weather for the end of November - just a great day.  We met them at Kaufman Gardens for their first meeting, all the family and bridal party were present.  Briana was stunning in her Wedding Dress, waiting for Taylor to see her for the first time.  When they met for the first time on their wedding day you could tell how excited they both were.  We spent a while taking photos in the gardens and then on to the church.  The ceremony was short, followed by Briana and Taylor walking to their limo as guests tossed rose petals their way.  Then, we were off to the reception at the Meadowbrook Country Club where the Dan Doran band and all their friends were waiting.

The evening went fantastically- great food, great music, and lots of  fun with the families and friends, not to mention,  a wonderful wedding couple.  Check out their wedding photography online at the Phoenix Photography website,  under “View Events”.
